We now offer Flight Training for selected students whishing to optain their Private Pilot License.

Flight Training is provided in a Cessna C-172 aircraft. Ground School and computer 'simulator' training at our facility at the El Paso International Airport, the Dona Ana Airport at Santa Teresa, NM or at the students home on request.

Our Flight Instructor is highly experienced and has helped many 'difficult' students to fulfill their dreams.

In addition to the Private Pilot Certificate, he can give Biannual Flight Reviews and train for Commercial, Airline Transport, Instrument and Multi-Engine aircraft privileges.

A minimum of 40 hours flight instruction is required by law, most students will need around 50 hours until they can pass the FAA check ride. Around 5 to 10 hours of Ground and Simulator school should be planned for.

Our Ground School Rate is $25.00/hour, Flight Instruction is $50.00/hour.

The airplane costs $96.00/hour WET, meaning fuel and oil is included. This is the lowest rate for a four seat Cessna 172 in the El Paso area.

The student will only pay for the actual 'Power On' time of the aircraft, meaning that if we fly for 1hour 30min within a two hour lesson, the charge is 1.5 X $96.00 for the aircraft plus 1.5 X $ 50.00 for instruction. Solo Flights are $96.00 per hour only.

Aircraft Rental: Once checked out as a brand new Private Pilot the same aircraft is available for rent at the same rate.

If you go cross country for several days we will charge a minimum of 2 hours per day. Parking and other fees are renter's expenses. The renter is required to carry his own Aircraft Renter Insurance, as provided by AOPA or our local Insurance Company. We require a copy of your insurance coverage.

Learning to fly an airplane by yourself is one of those ‘once in a lifetime’ experiences.
